We will be attempting to break the WPPR record for Victoria as the most valuable tournament ever run.
40 Tickets will initially be sold, but closer to the date we should have a better idea of how many machines will be available and be able to expand. So if you miss out on tickets please put your name down for the waitlist.
Format:
Qualifying will be best game format: 25 games, a mix between solid state and modern. You will be able to play a single game up to 2.
For Qualifying you have 3 options:
Qualify all of your games from 6pm to 11pm on Thursday
Qualify all of your games from 4pm to 8pm on Friday
Qualify a portion of your games on Thursday and the rest on Friday.
Finals: The field will be split up into
A division - The top 16 Players
B division - The next 24
C Division - The rest of the remaining players
Finals for A will be 4 game matchplay rounds where the top 2 progress to the next stage. - 12 x 4 player games played in total. More details about A finals will be posted closer to the date in terms of game selection.
Finals for B and C will consist of swiss matchplay for a time period.
Entry $$ back for top 4 in Division A and B, and a cash prize for 1st in A, B and C. (50% of Entry will be used for prizes and 50% to host the event and contribute towards the VPPR belt)
