Brothers in Arms is a fun tournament to trial out the potential for Doubles Play in Bolt Action Third Edition. This is an event more focused on casual and relaxed games with exciting and thematic lists as well as coordination, teamwork and community. As this is a first for the Store, we are keen on receiving feedback on this event. The choice is yours.
The event will take place on the 11th October at the Warlord Games HQ Store (see back on the pack for travel details), starting at 9:00.
There are 16 ‘guaranteed’ tickets up for grabs and an additional 12 tickets that we will have to confirm closer to the day whether we can facilitate the additional space. Any additional interest for the tournament will go into our waiting list as potential backups for dropouts and so on. We would suggest and prefer a list and detail submission regardless if you are guaranteed or not!
Armies must consist of a Company of no more than 1600 Requisition points split between two armies of 800pts, selecting from units found within the Bolt Action Third Edition Rulebook, Minor Nations PDFs, Armies of Germany Third Edition; Armies of the United States Third Edition or Armies of Great Britain.
Your 800 Force must consist of no more than 3 platoons and there must be at least one Rifle Platoon each.
For example:
John’s 800 pt army consists of a Rifle Platoon, a Heavy Weapons Platoon and a Vehicle Platoon
Conor’s 800 pt army consists of a Rifle Platoon, a Engineer Platoon and an Artillery Platoon.
The dice cap for the event is set to 16 dice for the total force with no more than 8 dice per Army. Please remember this is a fun, relaxed and themed tournament - ‘rule of cool’ and theming take precedence over ‘optimised’ army lists!
