Terrific Thursday to Everyone! The weather is such a treat and the holiday is around the corner.
Sue has been busy getting all her beautiful mums and Fall Foliage growing and just about ready to put on a fantastic display!
The 7th ANNUAL FALL FLOWER FEST is fast approaching. It is scheduled for SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th from 8-3. This year should be better than ever! There are more than 20 vendors signed up for booths. There will be something for everyone and as always, there is no admission charge. Sue and her family have arranged the plants so that it will be even easier to pick out your favorites. There will be a type of "Scavenger Hunt" that everyone can take part in. The prize at the end of the hunt will be a special discount on Mums!
Sue is also hosting a free drawing for 3 different prizes:
FIRST PRIZE IS A $100 GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR THE GREENHOUSE
SECOND PRIZE IS A HANDMADE WISHING WELL PLANTER COMPLETE WITH A GORGEOUS MUM ($75 VALUE)
THIRD PRIZE WILL BE A PAIR OF SUE'S REGULAR MUMS
How can you lose? The church ladies will be providing a delicious breakfast of BISCUITS WITH SAUSAGE GRAVY, COFFEE, & JUICE!
Lunch will be your choice of Hot Dogs, Cheeseburgers, or Hot Ham & Cheese Sandwiches with Chips!
There will be a wonderful Bake Sale too. All proceeds from this and the meals made by the church ladies will benefit the Eagles' Nest Amish School.
There will be other food vendors too. I believe a Lemonade Stand, a Sourdough Bread baker, Cake Pops, Kettle Corn, etc.
I know you will not leave hungry!!!
Pony cart rides in the morning too. The children always seem to have a great time riding along.
The "JUNQUE LADY" is planning to be there. You never know what she may bring. We are hoping for some home grown musical entertainment too. There are always some last minute changes but it seems to work out very well anyway! So, mark your calendars and get ready for some good Old Fashioned Fun!
