If you’re aged 14-19 and would like a career in visual arts , digital and computing, engineering, science, healthcare or finance RDUTC is the place for you.

At our Open Events, you’ll hear from our senior leadership team, staff, students and employer partners about how you can get the edge in your education and set yourself up for success.

Study at RDUTC

Our working day mirrors a working week. This is longer than a traditional school day, but most work is done within this time, meaning there’s no homework.

Our curriculum at Key Stage 4 and in the Sixth Form has been carefully developed to ensure students gain the key academic and technical qualifications they need, while developing the personal and professional skills essential to future success.

After attending RDUTC, many students go on to higher education at university prior to starting exciting careers. Others go on to apprenticeships, which combine formal education and training alongside a real job. Whatever pathway they choose, our students gain valuable skills and experience to help them secure well-paid and exciting careers.
