Celebrate world-renown Norfolk artist Colin Self & his association with the Sixties, the Rolling Stones, Marianne Faithfull and gallerist Robert Fraser, with a set of original songs (& a couple of well-chosen covers), including ‘Leopardskin Nuclear Bomber’ – a paean to Self’s dramatic anti-nuclear installation, part of his Retrospective exhibition One Self, on view at Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery until 21st September (2025).
The Groovy Arts Club Band, whose music can be described as New Wave Rock, have established a strong reputation in the last few years for their exciting & energetic performances in prestigious London venues and throughout East Anglia. They shortly release their second mini-album, entitled Suede Stone Star (to be available on Spotify & all digital platforms plus YouTube, alongside their first Starla Beads).
Support comes from Alt-Pop duo MEL & MARCEL. Based in Manningtree, Essex, they perform their own quirky brand of music, with songs about the madness of life as they observe it: from dementia to selfies through to hot flushes & the pointlessness of war – no subject is off limits. They have recently released a vinyl album Invisibly Plain; all their songs are on Spotify & all digital platforms plus YouTube.
