Monday Medley: Summer of Swing keeps on swinging, and this week Robert is back to take you deeper into one of Lindy Hop’s classic moves: the Texas Tommy.
You’ll learn how to lead and follow the Texas Tommy with confidence, and then explore fun variations to add flair, surprise, and musicality to your social dancing. It’s a great way to stretch your skills and keep your swing outs fresh and exciting.
👉 Best suited for dancers comfortable with their 8-count basics and swing outs, ready to add new shapes into the mix.
🎶 After class, from 8pm, we roll into an hour of social practice – your chance to dance it out, connect, and enjoy the energy of the Summer of Swing.
🎟 Payment: cash or card on the door
🚗 Parking: free after 6pm in QD car park (city end of Silver Road, through the archway at the back)
