Informational Program on Homelessness in Southeastern CT

Otis Library is hosting an informational program with the New London Homeless Hospitality Center (NLHHC) in the library’s Community Room. Staff from the NLHHC will share insights into the realities of homelessness, provide meaningful information about homelessness in Southeastern Connecticut, dispel common misconceptions, and explain practical ways community members can help. NLHHC will have an information booth on-site before and after the program, providing brochures, answering questions about volunteering and advocacy, and sharing resources for anyone in need of services or seeking to assist a neighbor in crisis. This program is free; no registration required. Light refreshments will be served.
