New York City transplant Martha Molnar tells the informative and wryly humorous story of a couple’s attempts to transform a dying apple orchard into a large native meadow on a Vermont hilltop.
An avid gardener and outdoors enthusiast, Martha is the author of Playing God in the Meadow and Taproot: Coming Home to Prairie Hill. Currently at work on a book about seeds, she has also written for the New York Times, Boston Globe, Mother Earth News, and Horticulture, Northern Woodlands, and Green Mountain Club magazines. marthalebmolnar.com
