New York City transplant Martha Molnar tells the informative and wryly humorous story of a couple’s attempts to transform a dying apple orchard into a large native meadow on a Vermont hilltop.

An avid gardener and outdoors enthusiast, Martha is the author of Playing God in the Meadow and Taproot: Coming Home to Prairie Hill. Currently at work on a book about seeds, she has also written for the New York Times, Boston Globe, Mother Earth News, and Horticulture, Northern Woodlands, and Green Mountain Club magazines. marthalebmolnar.com

This adult program is part of a series produced by the Hanover Garden Club in partnership with the Montshire Museum of Science. Martha will appear in person (with a Zoom option).
