Book Club - Braiding Sweetgrass

Explore American Indian/Alaska Native topics and literature with the AIRC Book Club, hosted by the American Indian Resource Center. We're kicking off this quarterly event with Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, an enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation.

Best-selling author and plant ecologist Kimmerer blends indigenous knowledge and science into a hopeful and warm lyrical non-fiction masterpiece, guiding readers with Creation stories and cultural lessons. Open discussion is encouraged in a relaxed and welcoming space.

Copies of the book are available for checkout at Norwalk Library's Information Desk and may also be downloaded as an eBook or audiobook at LACountyLibrary.org
