The Bowling Green Writing Group

Join poet Ben Zahl for an informal evening of creativity and fun in the welcoming setting of the Bowling Green Pub. Learn, share and hone your craft with writing challenges, wordplay and feedback. Whether you’re a budding or established poet, songwriter or storyteller, all are welcome to join the group. Share any works you have and put your pen through its paces!

volunteers, bonus exercise!

Ben Zahl is a Northwich-based Poet whose debut collection with the Working Verse Collective ‘The Prequel To The Sequel’ was published through Flapjack Press in 2012. With Working Verse he also co-wrote two poetry theatre pieces 'Amateur Thematics' and 'Writer's Retweet' which premiered at The Lowry theatre in 2012 and 2013 respectively
