History of Maybury Sanatorium Hike

Join us for a hike through the park highlighting its past. On the property are remnants of both early farms, and the Maybury Sanatorium, a tuberculosis sanatorium which was in operation until the late 1960s. The hike starts at 10 AM with a short introduction and continues with a walk on paved and unpaved surfaces to the location of some of the former buildings. Dress for the weather as this event will take place rain or shine.

This program is FREE, however a Recreation Passport is required for park entry. For further information on recreation passes, visit www.michigan.gov/recreationpassport.
