Single-phase and polyphase voltage transformers
Discuss NEC Article 450, with emphasis on overcurrent protection methods for transformers.
AC induction motor, both single-phase and three-phase.
Discuss NEC Article 430, review short circuit & ground fault protections for motors, overload protections for motors, sizing motor feeder and branch circuit conductors, including NEC Sections 240.4(G), and 250.122.
What to bring: Please be sure to have a calculator and your code book.
Participants will earn 8 continuing education units (CEUs) upon successful completion of this course. All of IECRM’s continuing education courses meet the criteria of the Colorado State Electrical Board and are approved by the states of Alaska, New Mexico, and Wyoming as well as the International Code Council (ICC) for CEU credit.
