Dërty Bërd are taking the stage at the iconic Bar 303 in wonderful Northcote for their last headline show until winter rolls around and BërdFest '26 excitingly descends upon us!
Before this act of pseudo-hibernation, catch Dërty Bërd in their element, genre hopping around and borrowing ingredients from dub, reggae, neo-soul, funk, ska and afrobeat to whip you up a deliciously-tantalising, musically-rich feed.
They will be joined by some absolute weapons in 'The Winfield Road Experiment' and 'Melodious Funk', who will serve as the equally nourishing appetisers to your Dërty Bërd main course.

Dërty Bërd is a Naarm-based, soulful/funky-reggae syndicate composed of mellifluous vocalists, earthy-toned brass players and a rhythm section that thrives on a dance-floor atmosphere. Dërty Bërd is an eight-piece collective that borrows elements from afro-beat, ska, funk, soul and jazz and weaves them into one, attaining a sound akin to a love-child of Fat Freddy’s Drop, The Shaolin Afronauts, Jorja Smith and The Fearless Flyers.
Brandishing their unique, fiery brand of Soul, Latin, Jazz and Blues music, Melbourne instrumental band The Winfield Road Experiment will have you feeling the heat one moment before melting your heart the next.
