Hi folks!
As a way to celebrate the return of spring and to hopefully alleviate our post-quest blues, we’d like to have a relaxed picnic and crafting day. If you want to come in softkit, feel free, but this is not an IC event- just a low-key community gathering. **Please do not bring LARP weapons to this event** More details below!
When: Sunday October 26th, 1-5pm
Where: At this stage, Edinburgh Gardens is our first choice! We’re looking at wet weather alternatives.
Picnic: Swordcraft will not be supplying any picnic materials, so *please bring your own picnic blankets, food, cutlery, etc!* If you intend on sharing food, please have ingredients lists available. Remember to bring sunscreen & water!
Crafts: We’re going to be making bunting to put up in town and around the site for Quest 2026! We’ll provide instructions to show you what we’re aiming for, but for now, we’re hoping people can bring:
-Small paintbrushes
-Hand sewing materials (basic needle and thread)
-Basic acrylic paints
We’re also putting a callout for players to donate old/tired/leftover scrap fabrics, sheets, t shirts etc in the leadup to this event, to be used for the craft day. There will be a space in Sign In for people to donate items on Fridays 10th, 17th, and 24th. Please ensure that items donated are clean. Thank you!
