Inspired by the themes of our new Made in Northampton show Top Gs Like Me, we are excited to be hosting our Teacher, Parent, and Practitioners’ Conference. Comprised of a series of incisive CPD accredited workshops and impactful talks by industry leaders this eye-opening weekend will provide adults the tools to guide young people through the common challenges and risks presented by our increasingly digitalized lives, social media, and the rise of online misogyny.
Conference highlights include:
Healthy Masculinity with Beyond Equality, one of the country’s leading gender equality organisations who consulted on the critically acclaimed Emmy Award-winning Netflix show Adolescence
The New Age of Sexism: Online Misogyny and Extremism talk withbest-selling author, keynote speaker, activist, international gender-equality consultant and feminist icon Laura Bates, founder of the Everyday Sexism Project and author of Everyday Sexism, Girl Up, Fix the System, Not the Women and The New Age of Sexism: How the AI Revolution is Reinventing Misogyny.
Reframing Masculinity with writer, activist, and researcher Nathaniel Cole whose TEDX Talk Why We Need to Change the Way Young Men Think About Consent has had over 60,000 views.
Other workshops include Online Safety with SWGfL, Safeguarding with Smart Horizons, and The Hidden Impact of Smartphones and Social Media on Children with Smartphone Free Childhood
