The "ABC" of Fun! Ale, Bicycles and Conkers!
A family friendly, smashing day out gently descending into disorder.
The afternoon consist of a gentle bicycle ride around Northampton, ending at The Pomfret Arms, on Saturday 4th October 2025.
For those of you just wishing to spectate or partake in the world championships, please feel free to meet us at The Pomfret, we should be there roughly for 3pm.
For those wishing to join us on bicycles, we will be meeting from 1pm. The meeting point will be, the Umbrella Fair Bicycle Recycle Center on the Racecourse Park. Please assemble here for a 1.30pm departure.
Racecourse Pavilion, Kettering Rd, Northampton NN1 4LG
We will go for a little Critical Mass style ride around and collect some conkers.
I might do a mini competition like last year, if I have time to make another trophy. I will update this in due time, to let you know in advance. As your bike choice, may be the key to winning.
Once we have our cobkers, we will make our way to The Pomfret Arms, for the all important World Championships.
New rule for this year. We do not carry points over from previous years conkers. Caused to much confusion last year and didn't know some people did this.
As always, conkers, drill and shoes laces will be available on the day.
