Join us for the Launch of the Summer Reading Challenge! 🌼
Held at Bedale Community Library, Bedale Hall (next to the park!)

We’re kicking off this year’s Summer Reading Challenge with a fun, free family activity - and everyone’s invited!

The 2025 theme is ‘The Story Garden’, celebrating imagination, growth, and a love of reading. To bring the theme to life, children can decorate their own plant pots at the library, and take home a marigold to care for all summer long! 🌱

🌟 Sign your child up to the Summer Reading Challenge on the day and they’ll receive:
📚 A colourful reading pack
🌼 A marigold in a decorated pot
🎉 The chance to take part in a summer of reading fun and win rewards along the way!

The Summer Reading Challenge is a brilliant way to keep children reading over the holidays, boost confidence, and discover new stories, plus it’s completely free.
