Go Stargazing at Sutton Bank - Autumn constellations and Jupiter shining bright

Join astronomer Richard Darn at the Sutton Bank Star Hub for this special stargazing event.

A big night for big views! As darkness descends, the sky will be starry as the Milky Way puts on an early show before the moon rises in the east. In the south, Saturn is standing sentinel - the highest it's been in the UK sky for 14 years.

At the end of the event, all eyes will be turned to see Jupiter clear the trees on its way to another vintage year high in the sky. We'll have telescopes and binoculars ready to capture the action.

This event is being staged in collaboration with Go Stargazing. We are committed to making stargazing accessible and affordable - viewing the heavens shouldn't cost the Earth.
