As the clock strikes one year of my enchanted tenure at North Wales Area Library, I invite you to celebrate this milestone by joining the inaugural gathering of our most captivating new venture: Shadows of Literature.

On this auspicious evening, we shall uncork both fine wine and literary tradition as we delve into Sheridan Le Fanu's mesmerizing "Carmilla" - the vampire tale that flowed from pen to paper in 1872, predating even Dracula himself.
Now I invite you to join our circle, where we'll raise glasses of wine, share artisanal cheeses, and lose ourselves in conversation about the supernatural stories that have captivated generations.
For our first gathering, we ask that you acquire "Carmilla" beforehand - this slender novella is available for download or at your favorite bookseller.
This book club explores literary works with mature themes and supernatural elements. Our discussions are appreciative in nature, welcoming all perspectives with an open mind.*
