Mia wanted to sing in the key of B flat, but Heath ( being from Sheffield in Yorkshire ) wants to sing it in “ A up “. Trying to avoid a “domestic”, the keyboard player said that it was easiest for him in the key of G.

Most of the songs are inspired by the people that I have met, the places I have been, and the events I have witnessed, all mixed in with a small slice of myself and a large dollop of fun. Joined by Andy Tinkler on bass and Anneka Johnson on percussion. We are here to enjoy ourselves, and if we can make you smile too, then all the better.

It’s also Dale Robson’s birthday… on Friday the 13th 🫣 so naturally, this turns into a party. Expect big sing-alongs and indie rock anthems from the 80s, 90s and noughties that everyone knows the words to.

His style is eclectic but heavy on the grooves from jazz to reggae, from country to punk, with a heavy sprinkle of Johnny Cash and Tom Waits. The prime mover behind Home Cooking @ The Cumberland Arms back in the noughties.
