Who is this course for?
This Date is for the OPTION 2
There are two options available for this class to allow both beginners and more experienced students to be able to join.
Option 1 - Beginners with little or no glass cutting experience. 3 hour class
Option 2 - for experienced glass cutters. 4 Hour Class
Please take care to when selecting a date during booking to opt for the correct Option for your skill level.
What does the course cover?
During this class we will teach you the technique of copperfoil work, creating your own stained glass door, approx 10.5cm x 22.5cm.
There will be a choice of three door styles to choose from please see images. We will offer colour options for the door of Green, Blue, Amber, Yellow, Purple and Orange. Red is not included but can be offered for an additional fee due to the additional cost of red glass.
Handle and letterbox are included, colour options for these are limited.
Your Door will be ready to take away with you on the day.
Please note the glass colouring will vary from the photos.
Option 1 - your glass will be pre-cut and ready for you to copperfoil and solder.
Option 2 - you will be guided to cut your own door and then copperfoil and solder. IMPORTANT information re option 2, prior cutting experience is essential. Glass cutting training will not be possible during this class. If you do not have prior experience please book a class date for Option1.
What is included in the fee?
Your fee includes tuition, the use of tools and equipment and all materials.
There is a maximum of 4 students per class for option 1 and max of 6 for option 2.
