Osborne Wind Quintet

It is a pleasure to welcome the Osborne Wind Quintet to the Old Low Light Heritage Centre as part of our programme of autumn and winter classic music events.

Once again, we are grateful to Whitley Bay musicians, David and Jennifer Murray, who have worked with us for several years, bringing first rate classical music to the centre.

On this occasion, Jennier Murray will be playing the clarinet as part of the quintet with Rachel Jeffers (flute), Phillip Cull (oboe), Chris Senior (horn) and Sharon Clatsworthy (bassoon).

All are well-known locally as orchestral and chamber music players, and their programme will comprise trios, quartets and quintets by 19th and 20th century English and European composers, including pieces by Malcolm Arnold, Nino Rota and Jacques Ibert.
