Mike Hall and Adam Howells will be making a welcome return to Cullercoats Crescent Club playing an acoustic show on Saturday 25 October. They will be performing 2 x 60 minute sets in the ground floor lounge, starting at approx. 8.30pm until 11pm. Doors open 7pm. Tickets priced £6 are now available from the venue. Mike & Adam will be performing acoustic covers of music by The Beatles, The Eagles, The Byrds, Crowded House, Eric Clapton and a number of 60’s and 70’s classics.

Mike has recently written a book called “Before Midnight”. It covers the period up to 1985 when he formed After Midnight after being inspired by Slowhand’s performance at Live Aid. It includes growing up in Durham, where he developed a love for music and for the guitar, He saw some major artistes of the 60s and 70s including the Beatles, Free, Cream and Clapton. These gigs and some legendary north east venues are described including Newcastle City Hall, Club a’GoGo and many others. Mike & Adam continue to perform Classic Clapton unplugged concerts throughout the UK. Their next gig is at Milton Keynes Stables Theatre in September. The full Classic Clapton band has decided to come together for as special one-off concert to celebrate their 40th Anniversary at The Glasshouse, Gateshead on Friday 5 December 2025. There are very few tickets remaining for this gig. If you don’t want to miss out you are advised to book early!
