**WHEN? **
Cold Weather Training will be a two-part training.
Part 1 will take place at Merit Badge College at Rhode Island College on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Time: 9am-4pm (Lunch will be provided at Merit Badge College)
Part 2 will take place at Camp Champlin from Saturday, January 31-February 1, 2026.
Time: Check in will begin at 8am on Saturday, January 31, and will conclude by 12pm on February 1.

**MEET YOUR TRAINER: DON THIEME**
Don is a retired Marine with a wealth of experience in Infantry and Reconnaissance across varied environments. He has successfully led Scouting expeditions in Poland, Germany, England, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, participating in a diverse range of activities— from snow cave camping to ice fishing, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, and more. Join us to learn from his expertise and passion!
