Jumpstart’s Read for the Record

Celebrate early literacy with us on Thursday, February 26 at 10 a.m. at Burns Road Playground as we take part in Jumpstart’s 20th Anniversary of Read for the Record — a nationwide effort to inspire a love of reading in young children.

This year’s featured story, See Marcus Grow by Marcus Bridgewater, follows a young boy learning life lessons in his grandmother’s garden through curiosity, care, and growth.
