I Ching is an ancient-and possibly the first-structured divination system. Originating in China, it was used by priests, emperors, and commoners alike to guide decision making.
In this class, you will learn the history of I Ching, how to engage with it, practice with peers, and discuss any questions that may arise.
Attendees will receive:
-3 Chinese Coins
-Red Pouch
-Hexagram Reference Chart
-Pack of notecards and pen for initial practice while casting your first hexagram
Attendees are encouraged to bring:
-Scarf, cloth, fabric, mat, or dish to toss coins onto set aside for this specific purpose, if one wishes
-Notebook or notepad and pen for notes, if one wishes to write down anything discussed in class
-A copy of the I Ching, if one has a copy
-Any questions or relevant topics one wishes to be addressed during the class
