Happy Hips with Cathie

A hip opening pose is a yoga posture that stretches the muscles around the hip joint and pelvis, including the buttocks, hamstrings, inner thighs, groin, and abdomen. By stretching and strengthening these muscles, you will be able to increase mobility and range of motion freely and comfortably through your poses. Each class will begin with gentle hip-opening vinyasa flow (poses). These gentle poses will prepare you for a continued sequence of deepening yin stretches. Class will conclude with a variety of pampering and restorative poses. The Happy Hip class includes, but is not limited to - Flow/Yin/Restore (yoga), hot stones to massage and soothe, weighted sandbags, bolsters, and cooling lavender towels.
