Join us for some messy fun as we create good times and great art! Join us for a hands-on ceramics class where you'll learn how to design and create your own unique dinner plates using hand building techniques! This class is perfect for beginners and intermediate potters alike who want to explore functional pottery without the wheel.
You’ll learn how to:
Roll and shape clay slabs for consistent plate forms
Use molds or free-form techniques to build plates by hand
Refine edges and surfaces for a clean, professional finish
Add texture, design elements, and personal flair
Apply decorative slips or underglazes (optional)
By the end of the class, you'll have made a set of beautiful, functional Kitchen essentials to use at home or give as gifts. All materials, tools, and firing services are included. You will make 4 pieces over 2 days. 1 giant serving bowl, 1 Charcuterie board, 1 Loaf pan or square server and a spoon rest.
Reminder: This is a messy clay class, old/artists clothes are encouraged but aprons are readily available. Your piece will be fired and ready to paint roughly 2-3 weeks after class, we will text the phone number provided once the project is ready to paint.

We try very hard to have a successful outcome in all of our classes and workshops, but there are things beyond our control that sometimes happen.
No refunds or credits will be given for any mishap or unpredictable outcome that is less than ideal.
