Are you ready to step into the exhilarating world of fire? This workshop is ideal for absolute beginners or prop spinners looking to transition from practice to fire. No prior fire experience is necessary — just a respect for the flame and a willingness to learn. This beginner-friendly workshop is your safe and supportive introduction to dancing with fire.
Experienced Fire Safety Certified Instructor Kim Ray will lead you step by step through:
👉🏼Fire Safety Protocols: Learn industry-standard safety practices, including clothing, extinguishing methods, spotter responsibilities, and emergency procedures.
👉🏼Fueling & Equipment Handling: Get comfortable with fuels, dipping, and safe ignition practices, plus care and handling of props.
👉🏼Two Supervised Burns: You'll have the chance to experience dancing with fire at least twice during the workshop, first to get a feel, and then to flow!
Come Prepared:
✅Natural fiber clothing (cotton, wool, or denim – no synthetics)
✅Hair up with no hairspray or dry shampoo
✅Closed-toe shoes
✅Your own prop if you have one (loaner props available)
✅Water and a sense of adventure!
