Samhain - Calling the Ancestors! Live @ UUCLV!

We gather together at Samhain to commune with our Ancestors. Like them we honor and welcome the coming season. For even as the Wheel turns, bringing Winter - come Beltaine, the Wheel turns to spring, and Brigid takes up the mantle of Goddess. She brings fertility to the growing season in her coupling with the sun god. In turn she will give way again at Samhain, so the circle is complete, the seasons ever change and the wheel turns.

Come, honor the Ancestors with us!

Our Samhain celebration will begin with a magical ritual of introduction and remembrance! After we set the mood, we will sit down to our Silent Supper. This meal will be a prepared feast, the menu will be posted soon.

Once we have completed the feast we will wrap up the evening with socializing, 'second feast' and a fun bardic circle!

Weather permiting, our Bardic Circle will be enjoyed outside. Bring your drums, guitars, voice - lets have an amazing evening!
