Join Peter Marmion as he shares the extraordinary story of his circumnavigation of Tasmania — on foot. With a focus on the untamed coastline between Port Davey and Strahan, Peter will take you into one of the wildest and least-visited parts of the state. This untracked, World Heritage-listed region is a place of rugged beauty and rich cultural significance, full of stories both ancient and modern. Using stunning photographs captured from sea, land and sky, Peter will bring to life the remote landscapes he has spent a lifetime exploring. He’ll share personal reflections, historical anecdotes, and insights drawn from over fifty years of travel in the area — many of which are featured in his recent book Hidden Worlds, copies of which will be available for purchase. Don’t miss this rare chance to hear from a Tasmanian adventurer, educator, and conservationist whose passion for the island’s wild places is infectious.
