Let It Rot Shabbat

Bring your curiosity, and maybe a wilted carrot top or two, to our Shabbat service where kitchen scraps get a second act. Chloe Weathington, Urban Agriculture Project Manager with Food Well Alliance, will lead us through the art (and science) of composting, complete with practical tips you can try at home.

We’ll light our shabbat candles and bless the earth as we learn how to turn food waste into fertile soil—and a richer, more sustainable community. Whether you’re a compost pro or have never met a banana peel you didn’t toss, come ready to delight in the magic of rot.
