Please join us for our 10th Annual Veterans Thanksgiving Day Service & Dinner.
We will again be volunteering along with Communities Helping & Empowering Patriots (CHEP) to help serve our local military veterans and their families in transition. We will begin serving at 11am but we will start set up and cooking around 7~8am.
ALL DONATIONS ARE WELCOME!!!
Please consider volunteering some time and/or donating some food to give back a little to those who gave so much in protection of our freedom!
Please RSVP and COMMENT BELOW if you'd like to participate i.e. volunteer, make food, serve... Any help is greatly appreciated. There will also be a volunteer sign-up sheet at the gym.
Some items we will need: green beans/green bean casserole, pies/desserts, mashed potatoes, gravy, macaroni, rolls/breads, sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, stuffing, veggies corn/peas/carrots, collards, drinks, soda/tea/water, plates, cups, silverware, napkins, table cloths, or any other relevant items you feel like bringing.
We will need enough to feed approx. 60~75 people, Veterans, family, staff, volunteers.
