Needle Felting 101: Gnome

One Session, Two Hours

Learn the art of needle felting while creating your own adorable 3D gnome! This beginner-friendly class will guide you step-by-step through shaping, layering, and detailing with wool. You’ll learn basic felting techniques, how to attach features like noses and beards, and how to add your own creative touches.

What you will learn:

How to select good fibers for Needle Felting
Creating a gnome body
Adding accessories! (hat and beard)
Selecting felting needles appropriate to the project

Class Supply List:
All listed supplies are available for purchase at the shop, or you are welcome to bring your own.

Felt pad – minimum 4X4 inch
Felting Needle Medium (36)
Felting Needle Fine (40)
Corriedale fiber
1 oz base color for body
1/2 oz fiber for the hat
1⁄2 oz fiber for head
1⁄4 oz gray or white fiber for the beard
