Knitting 101: Learn to Knit a Washcloth
Ready to learn how to knit? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start! Over two sessions, you’ll learn the basics of knitting while making a simple, practical washcloth.

October 7th & 14th from 6pm-8pm
OR November 11th & 18th from 6pm-8pm
What you’ll learn:
Casting on
The knit stitch and purl stitch
Binding off
How to read a simple pattern
Who it’s for: Absolute beginners—no prior experience required!
Cost Options:
Class only: $48 (bring your own supplies, see list below)
1 skein Coastal Cotton (worsted weight, 100% cotton yarn)
Size US 6 circular needles (24" cable)
Darning needle
2 Stitch markers
Class + Materials: $68 (includes yarn, needles, darning needle, stitch markers and pattern)
By the end of the class, you’ll have a finished washcloth, new skills, and the confidence to keep knitting on your own.
