How to Grow your Business Through the Travel Trade

Visit East Lothian is hosting a workshop designed for tourism and hospitality businesses in East Lothian, with no previous experience with the travel trade.

You are invited to join a comprehensive introductory session to work with intermediaries to understand what the travel trade is and how it operates, establish product relevance, identify the opportunity for local tourism businesses and get some easy/practical next steps.

The travel trade is an increasingly important route to market and as well as an overview, you will also hear from Alasdair Maclauchlan, VisitScotland. He will highlight some current trends and the importance of travel trade to Scotland's economy.

The session will be led by professional travel trade trainers, Liz Young and Karen Jacques.
