CAC presents Wolfman Jack performing sets of primal dead, based around the legendary early years of Grateful Dead from 1965-1972. Primal Dead refers to the era of Grateful Dead between 1965-1972. This is when the Dead were first cutting their teeth as a bay area rock band and exploring the psychedelic depths of the music in which they live and breathe.

Wolfman Jack recreates the shows of the Grateful Dead as a True Dance band that would blow the roof off venues such as the Fillmore West, Avalon Ballroom, Winterland Arena, and even the Strand Lyceum in England!

Raw is the best way to describe Primal Dead. It encompasses all that music was in the ’60s and ’70s! from psychedelic transitive Dark Stars to rockin’ St. Stephen>William Tell>The Eleven! We got the fix! The secret ingredient is Pigpen!!!

All net proceeds benefit Continuum Arts Collective, a 501(c)(3) providing Maine and New Hampshire student artists and musicians with the materials, instruction, and experiences they need to flourish as creators. More info at https://continuumarts.org.
