Milo Petersen, a Seattle-based guitarist, drummer, composer, and educator, began his musical journey with harmonica lessons from his Danish grandfather at the age of 5. He studied violin, sang in church choirs, and later trained with renowned guitarists and drummers. Active in the Pacific Northwest jazz community since the late 1970s, Milo has performed with local and international jazz musicians, including Gary Steele, Julian Priester, Joe Sample, Herb Ellis, and Elvin Jones. He has appeared on television shows and Broadway productions, taught music at numerous institutions and also teaches privately.
