FREE CLASS: Managing Wildfire Risks at Home

On October 1st, we’re kicking off National Fire Prevention Month with a wildfire preparedness class featuring experts from UCANR Fire Network and Placer Resource Conservation District. The first half of the class will provide solutions and resources for protecting your home, landscaping, and community from wildfires. The second half will discuss why prescribed burning is an important tool for managing our landscape and how interested locals can get involved.

Whether you’re a homeowner, renter or curious community member, all are welcome!

Snacks and refreshments provided.

This class is free, but we do ask that you register in advance as space is limited.
