Drop In Drawing: Vincent Valdez: Just a Dream…

Practice drawing and engage with fellow visitors alongside the skillful artworks of Vincent Valdez. Stop into MASS MoCA’s Research & Development Store to check out a drawing pad and graphite pencil (included in event registration) to use in the galleries of Vincent Valdez’s Just a Dream… exhibition.

In his practice, Vincent Valdez blends large, representational paintings — the scale of which recall Western traditions of history painting as well as mural painting and cinema — with contemporary subject matter. He focuses on subjects that explore his observations and experience of life in the twenty-first century.
