About the Kids Teaching Kids Program
Kids Teaching Kids is a monthly, youth-led workshop series where young artists teach their peers an art activity. With guidance from Appalachian Arts staff, youth instructors build confidence, leadership skills, and hands-on teaching experience. Whether instructing or participating, each young artist leaves with new skills, confidence, and a meaningful creative experience. Funding for this program is provided in part by the Arts Build Communities grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission and generous community donors. Your support of our Youth Programs helps make experiences like this possible.
