Kid’s Clay Club | Ages 8-12

In this 14-week afterschool program, kids will learn essential handbuilding techniques, like pinching, coiling, and slab work, to create a wide range of clay projects. From bowls and dishes to unique sculptural pieces, each session is guided step-by-step, with plenty of personal attention thanks to our small class sizes. Kids will not only build fun and functional pieces but also gain confidence as young artists. The class includes all materials, clay, glazes, and firings!
All clay, glazes, and firing costs are included in the class fee.
This program follows the Anderson County School calendar and is billed through a convenient 4-month subscription. The subscription begins at the time of registration and ends after four monthly payments. If you prefer to pay in full upfront, please email us at

About the Instructor:
Hailey Barnes is a self-taught potter and ceramic artist. She enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, biking, running, and prefers to be outside. If she’s not outside she is creating functional pottery on the wheel. She loves to combine simple forms with intricate carvings, paintings, and funky glaze combos to create visually interesting pottery.
