WHAT IS A PRAYER CONNECTION & WHAT HAPPENS AT ONE?
Each month from February thru December (weather permitting) we gather the week before our "main event"-brunch- to pray for our upcoming brunch, our nation, the needs of others, etc. A volunteer will lead our group with an inspirational message. Can be a different lady leader each month.
Each month it is held at a different location, i.e. homes in Bloomington, Normal, surrounding area homes, or local restaurants. If at a restaurant, please pay for your own order. If in a home refreshments are served.
DO I HAVE TO PRAY OUTLOUD? NO
WILL I BE CALLED UPON TO PARTICIPATE? NO
IS THERE A COST TO ATTEND THIS MONTH? NO
(IF WE GO TO A RESTAURANT: each person needs to pay for their own meal, a drink, a dessert or just attend without a purchase).
IS AN OFFERING TAKEN? NO
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED? It's nice if you let us know if you're coming so we can have enough chairs & refreshments (if held in a home)..
