Get ready for a FREE, fun-filled day for all ages! The Baxter County Master Gardeners are once again teaming up with the Friends of the Hatchery to bring you one of the most exciting family events of the year — Hatchery Outdoor Adventure Day!
Held each fall on the first Saturday after Labor Day, this hands-on event offers outdoor fun, learning, and adventure for kids and families alike.
Enjoy activities like:
🎯 Archery & BB gun shooting
🎣 Trout fishing at Dry Run Creek
🪶 Fly tying & casting
🔍 Microscopes & bug discovery
🎨 Fish ink painting
🧢 Plant-themed crafts with the Master Gardeners
🔥 S’more making
🚤 Water & river boat safety demos
🌱 And so much more!
From recycled bird feeders to creative Chia heads and garden crafts, the Master Gardeners always have something green and fun in store!
No registration required. All ages welcome. Free admission.
