FOR THE CURE:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
As many of you know Shelley is a Breast Cancer survivor that was personally supported by this group, as well as many others in our local community.
Check out the Support Sisterz group to see what this event is all about!
https://www.supportsisterz.org/

Support Sisterz is a community-focused nonprofit organization comprised of breast cancer survivors with a passion to financially and emotionally empower women. We support women who are battling breast and gynecological cancers. What originally began as a small support group between friends fighting the same battle soon flourished into a 501(c)3 organization focused on supporting women who live or work in Corona, Norco, Eastvale and surrounding areas. While Support Sisterz remains committed to its original mission of providing emotional support through monthly gatherings, we have expanded to additionally provide much needed financial support to women in treatment.

HOW TO ENTER / PRE-ENTRIES: Opens January 5th!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Pre-entries will open January 5th. If you want to be in the main draw, you will need to pre-enter by Jan 30th. All entries are through saddlebook.com. ALL entry fees will be cash only on site. You can also "late enter" on saddlebook starting February 3rd, but there will be a $25 late fee for all late entries after the Jan 30th cut-off. All late entries will be in the late draw. If you have multiple horses, please enter before the Jan 30th deadline.

If you want stalls, there will only be about 100 of them. If they run out we can try to help people find local stalls. There are plenty of ranches around Norco that allow stalling as well as RV parking for a small fee.

ALL entry fees will be CASH ONLY, collected on site when you check-in.

Projected payouts are visible in Saddlebook but are subject to change. All projected results or "standings" and projected payouts are live posted on Saddlebook and NOT FINAL by nature. They are simply a projection based on what is in the computer at that time. No results/payouts are final until checked, double checked, closed, printed and paid.

Open money (and the $3,000 added money) are separate from the Novice money pot. Novice class will have a lower entry fee and no added money.

Futurity classes will be 2D with a full second split.

Futurity Nomination Rules:
• Futurity side pot is open to horses 4 or 5 years old who have not competed in the barrel racing industry prior to Nov 15, 2025. If it is found out the horse competed prior to November 15, 2025, the horse will be disqualified and no refund will be given. Horse may have never competed for money, prizes or points any time before November 15, 2025. Futurity horses have only one 1 year of eligibility.
• All Futurity horses must be nominated into the program.
• To nominate a horse you must send in a photo of your horse, copy of registration papers (or vet affidavit as to age). Original registration papers will be required at the time of check-in. Non-registered horses will require an original veterinarian age certificate at the time of check-in. A photocopy of either registration or veterinarian age certificate will be required and retained.

1-10 entries - 1 place in each D
11+ entries - 2 places in each D

-------------------------------------------------------------------
$5 each, pay at the gate.
Fri: 2-5:00pm
Sat: 8-10:30am
Sun: 7-8:30am
We are expecting a large turnout. For this event, we will limit exhibitions to 1 each. You can get back in line if you'd like to do more than 1. We will require anyone in line with more than 1 horse, to allow the person behind you to go through while you switch horses, even if they are already tacked up. We ask everyone to limit time in the arena to less than 1 minute and to only turn each barrel once or twice at a maximum. If you are next in line, know that the person in front of you is only allowed to do 1 and be ready to walk in as they walk out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
START TIMES:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Fri: 5:30pm
Sat: 11:00am
Sun: 9:00am

-------------------------------------------------------------------
#WCBRA 2-DAY SAT/SUN AVERAGE:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Friday night is considered a warm up race and the average is only for Saturday and Sunday. Average Pots will have 90% PAYOUT !!! The Open and Futurity Averages also count as an additional #WCBRA run. Novice entries are not part of the WCBRA Average. We will have a separate Novice Average pot. Buckles will be awarded to the winners of each division in the Open Average as well as the winner of the Novice average. We would love to have more average prizes. If you know someone who would be interested in sponsoring prizes, please call Jerry at 951-212-2238

-------------------------------------------------------------------
DRESS CODE:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Friday there won't be a dress code, but Satuday and Sunday will have a dress code. There will be a hat fine so please consider wearing a helmet! There is no dress code for the roping events.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
VENDORS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The City of Norco requires all vendors have a City of Norco business license, very specific insurance policy requirements, and a CA state seller's permit. If you are interested in being a vendor please email bHVuZGViYXJyZWxzIHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20= and we can help point you in the right direction.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
NOVICE/BEGINNER RIDERS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
We offer a Novice class with a +3.0 second time split based off of the overall fast time from the Open. This will allow us to keep your entry fees lower. Our Novice class is not a completely separate race in the sense that it will include a +3.000 second time split based on the Open 1D fast time. Think of it like an added division that is another 1 second slower than the last Open division. This means that the fastest Novice time ran may not win the Novice class, but the time closest to the time split just like in the 2D, 3D, and 4D of a standard race. The purpose of this +3.000 second time split is to encourage new riders who are just beginning and looking to start competing in the sport of barrel racing. We would like to reach out to the young and beginner riders of all ages and help them get started in this great sport and keep this class competitive for those riders, rather than allowing it to be won by someone who could have also placed in the 3D or 4D of the Open.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
3D 'TOP 3' SIDE POT:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Our 3D 'Top 3' Sidepot will be formatted as follows:
We will take your Fastest Time from either Saturday or Sunday and use that time for the side pot results.
$50 Entry Fee, 90% Payout
This side pot can result in the BIGGEST checks of the whole race with enough entries. One year the winner took home over $1,600 from this pot alone.
Previous example payout...
1D 2D 3D
$1,609 $965 $644
$965 $579 $386
$644 $386 $257

Pays TOP 3 in each of 3 Divisions.
+0.0 = 1D
+0.7 = 2D
+1.4 = 3D
These 0.7 second splits are a fun twist because they are times that would otherwise normally fall in the middle of the 2D or 3D so if you miss the payout splits in the Open you may hit these time splits instead! This side pot is completely optional but gives you more chances to win!

-------------------------------------------------------------------
YOUTH (16U), PRIME (17-49), and SENIOR (50+) SIDEPOTS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
We will have a Youth Sidepot, Prime Sidepot, and a Senior Sidepot. It will be a $50 entry fee (pay once), 90% payout, no grounds fee, carry-over only and you would have to also be entered in the Open (or novice).

Helmet Sidepot Rule: Any contestant entered in the helmet sidepot must run Saturday AND Sunday in a helmet. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the Helmet sidepot ONLY for BOTH days without refund.

Sidepot Rule: All contestants MUST declare and pay for entry of any sidepot PRIOR TO their first run (not counting Friday). In years past we allowed some contestants to enter a sidepot on Sunday, even if they had already run on Saturday. We would have DQ'd their Saturday time in that case to keep it fair, but our new software cannot do that. With that being said, we will no longer offer sidepot entry for Sunday only after a Saturday run. If you aren't entering on Saturday however, you can still enter for Sunday only, or vice versa because you only HAVE to run once to qualify for the side pots.
