If you would like to design your weaving with intention, I am offering a class that introduces you to the basics of Feng Shui. On Friday night, you can join me for a fun, interactive exercise that includes sketching an elementary drawing of the main floor in your home or apartment. You will identify which areas are draining you due to clutter, unfinished projects, disrepair, or other factors that leave you feeling overwhelmed. Next, you will choose which aspect of your life you’re seeking greater fulfillment in, for example, family, health, career, love, inspiration, or wealth.
What’s the connection? Join this class and find out! I will help you design your weaving to enhance the areas of your life you’re seeking improvement in. I am certified in both Feng Shui, C.F.S.P., and Life Coaching, C.P.C.C.
Weaving can become a delightful self-soothing pastime. Studies have shown it to reduce stress and anxiety, and increase serotonin and dopamine. It provokes mindfulness and relaxation, supports memory and neuroplasticity, and improves dexterity and fine motor skills. Creating a finished textile increases confidence and provides tangible evidence of achievement.
I recommend weaving for individuals recovering from addiction, as it keeps their hands busy and their minds in a creative, positive state. As you’ll read in my author bio, I have personal experience supporting individuals in recovery.
