Info: Let’s wake up the chickens and send the ducks in a row to the pond. Our young farmers will serve up breakfast and take up the coop and take the baby hatchling ducks to the trough for a race!

Info: Let’s gather greens in the garden and identity and eat some native plants! Then hop over to the bunny cages and meet our Bucks, Does and baby bunnies born on Easter! Cuddle time ?

Info: Let’s feed our pasture raised pigs some organic fermented breakfast and make them a mud bath ?

Info: Meet our new twin baby lambs, and see if any new ones have birthed! Hand feeding and identity our dorper, katadhin and black faced Suffolk sheep as they gently eat out of your hands ?

Info: Let’s let the goats spring free, bottle feed the babies and let you can try your hand at milking our girl DIVA; she’s a registered dairy ?

Calling all young builders, ages 7 and up! This is more than play — it’s a chance to build real forts, with real tools, alongside our older farm kids. With drills in hand, measuring tapes at the ready, and plans to follow, kids will collaborate across age groups to bring their blueprints to life.


Whether it’s a secret hideout, a lookout tower, or a tiny homestead tucked in the trees, these structures aren’t just for fun — they’re part of the living landscape of Lightfoot Farms.


We’re teaching more than just construction. We’re teaching confidence. Teamwork. Problem solving. And the pride that comes from saying, “I built that.”


Because here, when kids build forts, they’re building memories — and a legacy that will stand for seasons to come.
