Permablitz + Potluck at L. B.’s White Eagle Lodge (Bushnell, FL)

Important: There is no driveway.
This is over a mile and a half off the end of the county roads.
Wait at the mailboxes at the end of the county road and
Call L. B at 305-305-1236.
Wait there for a guide to escort you through the neighbors farm gates and cattle pastures for the 1.5 mile path into the Jumper Creek Wildlife Management Area and old growth forest. We’re quite a ways off the grid.
What we’ll do:
A community permaculture work party!
Plant new garden beds. They’ve been set up and filled with mulch but need leveling, so bring rakes and shovels.
Bring cuttings or seeds for planting if you have extras. I’m just beginning so don’t have any cuttings yet but do have seeds. This is what the UF extension says will grow here:
Bananas
Avocados
Carambola
Figs
Lychees
Mangos
Persimmons
Moringa
Corn
Beans
Squash
Chain Saw. We’ll fell two small trees on the tree farm.
Bring a dish to share for the community potluck lunch afterwards!
