Volunteer Alert: Chipper Day – Saturday, September 27!
Friends of Lake Spokane Parks is teaming up with Stevens County Fire Department 1 for Chipper Day on September 27, 7:00 AM–2:30 PM. Part of the proceeds will go directly toward building Eagle Bluff Park’s playground. We already have a swingset being installed, but we want slides, zip lines, and whatever else we can afford to get for our kiddos and our community.
Playgrounds don’t build themselves and this is a big chance to raise the funds we need! We must provide 10 volunteers, and we already have 5 lined up. That means we need 5 more helping hands.
By volunteering, you’ll be:
-Supporting a safe, fire-resilient park
-Helping bring a playground to life for our kiddos
-Making events like the Easter Egg Hunt possible
