rTMS in Depression, OCD & New Developments: Practical Workshop

Georganiseerd door Drs Marleen Stam, Global Trainer, Psycholoog, rTMS Supervisor en Neurofeedback Specialist voor neuroCare Group Nederland en Drs Myrthe van Eerdt, GZ-psycholoog, rTMS Supervisor en Neurofeedback Specialist voor neurocare Klinieken Nijmegen.

In deze praktische training workshop krijgen de deelnemers voldoende tijd om de rTMS / TMS-technologie uit te testen en te ervaren volgens evidence-based protocollen. Door in groepen te werken, verwerven de deelnemers praktische ervaring in het vinden van de motorische drempel, het plaatsen van de spoel en het bedienen van TMS-systemen en instellingen. The training can also be given in English if there are English participants present.

De deelnemers maken kennis met minimaal 2 van de volgende TMS-systemen:
- MagStim Rapid
- Deymed DuoMag rTMS Stimulator
- MagVenture MagPro R30
- Apollo / Power Mag TMS Therapie Systeem

De trainingsdag omvat een demonstratie en oefening met:
- Het voorbereiden van de patiënt en het lokaliseren en markeren van de DLPFC
- Het lokaliseren en markeren van de SMA
- Het vinden van de motorische drempel
- Het plaatsen van de spoel boven de rechter DLPFC
- Het plaatsen van de spoel boven de linker DLPFC
- Het plaatsen van de spoel boven de SMA
- Veiligheidsaspecten van rTMS

Annuleringsbeleid:
Bij annuleringen binnen 7 dagen brengen we 25% van de totale kosten in rekening. Bij annuleringen binnen 24 uur brengen we 50% van de totale kosten in rekening.

In this practical training workshop, participants will have sufficient time to test and experience the rTMS / TMS technology according to evidence-based protocols. By working in groups, participants will gain hands-on experience in identifying the motor threshold, placing the coil, and operating TMS systems and settings. The training can also be given in English if there are English-speaking participants present.

Participants will be introduced to at least 2 of the following TMS systems:

• MagStim Rapid
• Deymed DuoMag rTMS Stimulator
• MagVenture MagPro R30
• Apollo / Power Mag TMS Therapy System

The training day includes demonstrations and practice with:

• Preparing the patient and locating and marking the DLPFC
• Locating and marking the SMA
• Finding the motor threshold
• Positioning the coil over the right DLPFC
• Positioning the coil over the left DLPFC
• Positioning the coil over the SMA
• Safety aspects of rTMS

Cancellation policy:
For cancellations within 7 days, we charge 25% of the total costs. For cancellations within 24 hours, we charge 50% of the total costs.
